Students are universally familiar with Google, but a surprising number of them have never used Google Scholar. While not a replacement for our library databases, it does offer an additional way to find scholarly articles. In this workshop students will learn how to access Google Scholar, how to successfully conduct searches, and how to connect Google Scholar to our Staley Library databases so that they can access the full text of articles. Time permitting we will also look at Google Books and the Google Ngram Viewer.
Students from any discipline looking for scholarly articles for papers or projects will benefit from this workshop.
